Valencia CF and Atletico Madrid are coming into the game off the back of contrasting results VCFF returned to winning ways the hard way against EDF Logroño by 3-2 whereas Atletico Madrid fell to a 0-1 loss to Santa Teresa.
VCF Femenino head coach José Bargues and VCF Femenino player Candela Andujar looked ahead to Sundday’s clash.
José Bargues
“Three significant factors come together making the upcoming game really important for us. Pick up Back-to-back wins, returning to winning ways and testing ourselves against great opposition like Atletico Madrid.
We’re going to Madrid looking to take all three points. I think is going to be an entertaining game and I believe we can have a great result”.
Candela Andujar
“We’re going to try to push on at all costs despite being at a disadvantage playing away from home. Playing away is always difficult even more so with fans in the stands but we’re going go all out.
If we win we’re in with a chance of getting into the Copa de la Reina even though we depend on results elsewhere but we’re going to try it”.
